For over 20 years, Suzzanne Uhland, JD, has worked as a licensed attorney and partner at the San Francisco and Newport Beach, California, offices of O’Melveny & Myers LLP (OMM). She leads OMM’s Restructuring Practice in California and nationwide, which includes the areas of bankruptcy related intellectual property, private equity in distressed investments, Chapter 11 corporate restructuring, derivatives in insolvency, and much more. In addition to bankruptcy law, Suzzanne Uhland also has experience with cases involving health care, retail, real estate, and technology.
A 1986 graduate of Stanford University with a master of arts in linguistics, Ms. Uhland earned a juris doctorate at Yale University in 1988. She subsequently clerked for the Hon. Mariana R. Pfaelzer before taking a position with OMM. Suzzanne Uhland has served as plenary speaker and frequently presented at national conferences on topics specific to bankruptcy law in the United States. For her work, Ms. Uhland has been honorably mentioned as one of the Best Lawyers in Orange County and one of The Best Lawyers in America. The lawyer also earned listing in the Who’s Who of Legal Insolvency & Restructuring, California.
